‘Graviteti Magjik ‘ i artistit March Chagall në Tiranë

Kushdo që është në Tiranë në dhjetor dhe në fillim të janarit, ka fatin të shohë ekspozitën e një prej piktorëve më të mëdhenj të shekullit të XX. Për herë të parë krijimtaria e piktorit ruso-francez, Marc Chagall, ka mbërritur në Shqipëri dhe do qëndrojë e hapur deri në 12 janar pikërisht në qendrën COD në mjediset e katit të parë të ndërtesës së kryeministrise. Ekspozita e tij titullohet “Graviteti Magjik”, dhe përfshin 180 gravura të një nga artistëve më të mëdhenj të gjithë kohrave. Chagall i ka dhënë botës një sërë punimesh artistike unikale në 7 dekada krijimtari.
Ai vinte nga Rusia, por punimet e tij të para i nisi në Berlin në 1922 dhe më pas u zhvendos në Paris. Ai ka përdorur gjithë menyrat e mundshme të asaj kohe për të bërë art: që nga piktura, gravurat, skulpturat, punimet me balte dhe vizatimet në xham, mozaikë dhe madje produksion skenik. Këtu në Tiranë do gjeni 180 punime të zgjedhura me shumë kujdes dhe me domethenie te madhe. Bëhet fjalë për koleksionin e veprave të tij më të famshme.


Ekspozita titullohet “Graviteti Magjik” dhe shfaq 3 cikle ilustrativë të njohur në gjithë botën, për librat: Shpirtra të Vdekur’ të Gogol, ‘Stuhia’ të Shekspirit dhe ‘Fabulat’ e La Fontenit.

Ekspozita do të vijojë të qëndrojë hapur për publikun deri më datë 12 janar 2019 dhe do të jetë e aksesueshme 7 ditë të javës.

Magic gravity of greatest artist Marc Chagall, in Tirana 

Everyone who is in Tirana this month have the chance to see the exhibition of Marc Chagall, one of the greatest painters 20th century. The exhibition will be open at the Center COD, in first floor of Government Building until 12th of January. Chagall is a Russian-French Painter who gave to the world thousands of artistic works in seven decades of creative activity. He used every media availbale at the time to do art work: “from painting, engraving, pottery and drawing to stained glass, mosaic, monumental sculpture and even stage production. Chagall created a universe in which human figures, animals and scenery drawn from Jewish tradition, live side by side with Biblical and religious references”, COD states. 

Chagall was introduced to printmaking in Berlin in 1922, at the age of thirty-five. After his return from Russia, he first tried his hand at etching, found in the prints he executed for his autobiography, ‘My Life’ (Berlin, 1922-23). Moving to Paris, Chagall was approached by Ambroise Vollard, who asked him to produce a set of etchings for a deluxe “livre de peintre” like the work Vollard had already commissioned from Bonnard and Rouault. Chagall rejected Vollard’s choice of texts and instead suggested novelist Nikolai Gogol’s ‘Dead Souls’. The result is one of the masterpieces of modern art. 

He made plenty of art works and at the age of 88, Chagall did 50 illustrations of “The Tempest’ of Shakespeare, reflecting his interpretation of William Shakespeare’s magical play.
This exhibition is called Magic Gravity and includes 180 gravures. In this exhibition his art work is selected carefully to show the greatest part of this artist. You can see 3 collections of illustrations for the best seller novels in the world such as Dead Souls a novel by Nikolai Gogol (1842), Tempest of Shakespeare, or Fabulas de La Fontaine. This exhibition also displays an additional thirteen colour lithographs as a synthesis of Chagall’s universe of colours and themes.
