Travel blogger: 8 reasons why Tirana is my favorite city in Balkans so far

Tirana is becoming the newest spot for travelers in the Balkans region and everyone who visits our city, falls in love with this city. Others who have heard not very good things about Albania, changes the perception after they visit the country. The latest review about Tirana, comes from a travel blogger living as expat in Greece. Her name is Nina Ahmedov, and she writes an article titled: "Eight reasons Tirana is my favorite city in the Balkans so far". She writes wonderful words about Albanians and for Tirana city. She says that the streets in the center of the Tirana city were in much better condition than in Greece or even in Sofia. There are bike lanes which is something one can only dream in Athens.

Very interesting is her judgement about Albanians as honest and friendly people. She says "Albanians place their language first. If you speak Albanian you are Albanian, no matter your religion. Albania has never seen any sort of conflict between the different religious communities".
“I went to Tirana with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised and have to say that I liked Tirana even more than other cities in the region” says Nina on her blog:
