Tirana, a modern city lost between west and east

A French travel blogger writes his impression about our country and recommends visiting Tirana for a shocking culture. “We never heard about this tiny country situated in the east of Italy, across the bottom of the boot. Bordered by the Mediterranean, Albania is a very pretty country.”

Tirana, the capital of Albania, is a modern city lost between the west and the east. Multicultural, you could sometimes feel like you are in Turkey and then we walk in its huge central park and its quarters and right away, the west recalls to us. Although multicultural, Albania is rather Muslim. Religion is moderate and the welcome is very warm.

Like its neighboring countries, youth draws the country from the top, is very dynamic and often perfectly bilingual in English. Albanians are also very sporty and adore outdoor sports.
Albania is still a developing country, mostly farming, but its opening to the Adriatic Sea, its small enclave beaches and mountains make it a country with a great tourist potential.
