Tirana has new Olympic Park

Tirana has now its New and Only Olympic Park inaugurated on 4 June 2017 with a basketball match between ex-players from the National Teams from Albania and  Kosovo. The Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj participated as well in that game.

This Park is a multipurpose arena and since opening there has been held several matches on Volleyball and Basketball.

While presenting the project on the Olympic Park of Tirana, PM Rama said that this sport complex will include a multifunctional gym and other spaces in service of weightlifters and will accommodate also some Federations.

He said that the sport administration and the Albanian Anti-doping Committee will also have their space within the complex.

The Premier also promised that the new stadium Qemal Stafa  be a modern stadium and with standards.
