Miranda Luby from Australia, is a freelancer travel writer
and writes for National Geographic.
She's visited 44 countries and also she has already seen
Albania.
When she first heard someone suggest to her as a travel
destination, she thought that Albania is a “well-kept secret’ and decided to
explore it.
“Albania after 50
years of communist rule has swung open the doors to its beautiful deserted
beaches, increasingly cool cities and incredible history, making it perfect for
travel bucket list” –Luby writes in a
long article about impressions and mind-blowing places in Albania published
at “www.whimn.com.au”.
In this article she describes the real delights of the cool
and colorful capital of Tirana. The
young generation of Albanians has inspired some investment in stylish bars,
modern restaurants and great boutique shops. The previous mayor (a former
painter) had the city buildings splashed in color and established some
beautiful city parks making it a top place to wander.

Another thing that most visitors agree is the delicious
traditional food of Albania, which you
can taste in numerous traditional restaurants in Tirana.
